Poor Derek.  All his hopes for a future had been dashed thanks to the Apprenticeship he got for himself during the annual choosing festivities.  Now all he wanted to do was forget his troubles and enjoy himself for one afternoon by attending the festival's tournament with his little sister.

Unfortunately for Derek, the gods, or fate had other plans for his simple afternoon of watching the knights and squires he had dreamed of joining.

Very rough draft!!!  If you would like to edit it please by all means do so.  Drop an edited copy to theresa.sanchez (a) gmail.com and I will be happy to repost it here.

It seemed only old Mannequins were capable of the strange occurrences and mainly Mannequins made by Vanderville Mannequins of New York. When stores later converted to the newer headless models all other mannequins were destroyed except a handful of Vanderville Mannequins. These mannequins traveled down through a family mostly in what was considered undesirable crates. Now the crates were now in the hands of Eugene Peters only a fourteen year old boy and so the story begins.
