Hi. This page is to help those of you whom have trouble understanding our ratings system. The ratings are clearly described on the images below, and the sample image shows you all the relevant areas of the ratings images.
The reason we use the FictionRatings.Com ratings scale as opposed to the standard G/PG/PG-13/R/NC-17 scale that most are used to, is because those ratings have been copywitten by Motion Picture Association of America and can not be used without their permission.�
Some have suggested that since we don't charge money we could just use them and no one will care, we don't want to take that chance. Many people have put alot of hard work into building TGFiction.Net into what it is today, and we do want to see it all get thrown away because we made a stupid decision.
B):�Intended for preschool level and younger children between the ages of 1 and 4. Content should be free of any coarse language, violence, adult themes, and ideas very young children cannot comprehend.
K): Intended for general audience 5 years and older. Content should be free of any coarse language, violence, and adult themes�
K+):�Suitable for more mature childen, 9 years and older, with minor action violence without serious injury. May contain mild coarse language. Should not contain any adult themes.
T):�Suitable for teens, 13 years and older, with some violence, minor coarse language, and minor suggestive adult themes.
�
M):�Not suitable for children or teens below the age of 16 with possible strong but non-explicit adult themes, references to violence, and strong coarse language.
MA):�Content is only suitable for mature adults. May contain explicit language and adult themes.
