It seemed only old Mannequins were capable of the strange occurrences and mainly Mannequins made by Vanderville Mannequins of New York. When stores later converted to the newer headless models all other mannequins were destroyed except a handful of Vanderville Mannequins. These mannequins traveled down through a family mostly in what was considered undesirable crates. Now the crates were now in the hands of Eugene Peters only a fourteen year old boy and so the story begins.
