I really like this story. The characters are interesting, and it looks like there's quite an adventure ahead for them!

Why the end? Actually, I'd like to see him reject the power and find himself changing anyway - if the Lord regent is correct - and see how an unwilling Celeste handles things, number one being the feeling of being lied to by Narissa. That would certainly be the road less traveled.
