Intresting story.  It's really too bad that the two girls were not willing to REALLY remain friends with Dennis once Donna was gone...  Seems they are not as open minded as they might think.  Are Dennis and Donna different people?  Once Dennis learned his lessons, did he remain a prankster as Dennis?  It didn't SOUND like it... So why the reaction - other than cultural brainwashing.

The ening still has that "be Dennis now and then" ring to it. What I would like to see is Dennis being Donna permanently and Dennis fades into obscurity in Donna's subconscious.

I really liked reading this story, it is well thought out, and the punishment fitting the crime really led to a softe way of life for Donna, and Donna made new friends because of it.

I am waiting patiently for thenext chapter.

I think it was terribly unfair of Dennis's mother not to give Dennis a real chance as a boy again after the punishment was over.  Nothing was said about him misbehaving in any way during the three days before Mom sprung the new punishment on him; he did not deserve it.

OK, so the mom was a bit unilateral in her decision.  in the end, it all worked out for Donna, her family, and, her best friends.  An excellent read that got the waterworks fowing.  Thanks for the pleasure of reading it.

I was enjoying this story, till it got to mom unilaterally deciding that he had to remain a girl after his punishment was completed.

<< His mum turned to him and smiled, "Yes I'm so proud of the way you've behaved, your school report was your best ever. So if you think I'm going to let mischievous Dennis start next term in place of my diligent daughter Donna think again. I was putting your education first when I agreed to the headmaster's condition and I'm going to do it again now. Besides you would lose Becky & Jo as best friends." >>

This was totally unfair, even though it worked out well.  Dennis had completed his punishment and mom admitted she was proud of him, yet he was given no chance to prove he had learned his lesson.  What was mom's plan if he had truly hated it and felt completely betrayed, as he had every right to feel.  Sorry, but I lost all respect for mom at this point.  Mom should have given him a chance; my guess is he would have come around to what mom wanted on his own.

That was so sweet, I almost started to cry.  I bet most TGs feel the same way.  "Why couldn't I have such a loving and understanding family?"
